Review: Mercenary’s Honor

Mercenary's Honor
Mercenary’s Honor by Sharron McClellan
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This was a fun adventure. Set in Columbia, kind of Romancing the Stone meets a certain Season 1 episode of MacGyver – female report sees something she shouldn’t have (FILMS something she shouldn’t have) and needs help getting out of the country. Needs to get the film to someone to expose a bad guy and bring peace and order – and make sure good people didn’t die for nothing. There’s death and betrayal aplenty here, and on occasion I got lost because several of the action scenes followed so closely and there was a lot of Spanish dialogue that some of it blurred together in the middle. But it didn’t lack for excitement and I hung on to the end. Characters were interesting and I love high stakes.
