  1. Hey Renee,

I followed you over from Love Romances but I recognize you as a fellow TWRP author. Congrats on your upcoming release.

Our tradition is to go to the pumpkin patch, get our pumpkins, come home, and I tell the children a story I made up about the “Jack-o-lantern Man”. Then we carve the pumpkins and place them outside.

    All my best!

  2. Hi Renee,

    Favourite Halloween memory :
The first time I got to go trick’o’treatin…I was about 10 *I know that’s a pretty old age to start but I grew up in a household where halloween wasn’t celebrated but that particular year my Mum totally battled it out for us and my brother and I got to go trick’o’treatin. It is one of my most favourite memories!!! I had so much fun…dressin up and getting so much candy…I remember pouring out the bags of candy our living room floor and just staring at it like they were the greatest treasure on the planet!!!

    Favourite Halloween Movie :
The Legend of Sleepy Hollow (I’m a big chicken when it comes to scary movies…I hide behind the cushions on the sofa everytime I see this movie but I still love it!!!)

    Favourite Halloween Tradition:
Celebrating my Mum’s freedom from her abusive marriage…we spend the entire day together..have brunch, lunch, and dinner outside.. Go book shopping and wander around our favourite boutiques…Have a majorly decadent dessert!!! and to finish it all off…we walk around our neighbourhood to look at everyones’ decorations.

    Take Care.
    Happy Halloween!!!
    Happy Reading!!!

  3. Just the times trick or treating with my best friends growing up. We knew all the neighbors and they new us. It was loads of fun.

  4. Loved trick or treatin’. Especially when it was done at night. After a couple of years they switched it to daytime hours. Was never the same.

Parties were always fun and haunted houses. Now, it helping my little darlin’ with her costume and taking her trick or treatin’. She goes for the candy, I scrounge beers. LOL.

  5. One of my favorite and funniest Halloween memories was when I was in the 5th grade. I lived on a farm and there were only a few homes we could trick or treat from. So one of the mothers took us to a community nearby and gave us 3 hours to get our goodies. Mind you, this is during the time when there were rumors of people placing needles and razor blades in apples. So what did we get from one home… yup, apples. Now everyone freaked out and threw their apples on the lawn. I decided to keep mine and throw it away when I got home. So, we’re at the next home and Dale is next to me; we’re standing at the front door. While waiting for the owner to open the door, Dale is trying to place his apple in my bag but I keep closing it. When the door opens, Dale, once again, attempts to put the apple in my bag but he misses and it hits my hand….falls on the floor… and rolls into the house! OMG, Dale ran away and I laughed! It was rather embarrassing, though….
